Forget India....Latin America is booming with call centers right now. Why? Same time zone, cheaper prices, easily integrated western culture, etc etc. In Buenos Aires, there is a huge amount of people from all over the world for many different reasons - but they all share one thing in common, they need a job! Call centers attract them because often they can speak to clients / customers in their own language. Companies like 5CA are owned by people from the netherlands but headquartered in Buenos Aires.

Creative Outsourcing to Argentina definately seems to be picking up. Since 2002, important customer contact companies have established in Argentina, such as Regional Support Centers and Shared Service Centers. Exxon Mobile has moved its accounting activities to Buenos Aires; MCI turns Buenos Aires into a regional hub and also Google has announced establishment in Argentina.

Here is another article that discusses the recent boom in Argentina with creative outsourcing....http://www.creative-outsourcing.com/outsourcing-of-creative-work-is-to-argentina-what-outsourcing-of-programming-is-to-india-and-outsour.html

Great topic of conversation here. The strength within India's borders with respect to the technological clusters that they have been building on for so many years is what gives them the ability to be creative and competitive in my opinion. The wealth of knowledge that is in this country is also a secure competitive advantage. The technical institutes which educate the population have developed over time to meet the needs of the global environment and have not focused as hard on internal business development. The timezone in which they operate is favorable to the western (NA) as well as the EMEA regions. HP has set up a business center in India which handles outsourcing from other companies on the world stage. HP has capitalized on the opportunities of a highly skilled workforce and the technological clustering which is occuring.

Creative outsourcing in INDIA depends on clients and provider needs, till the date INDIA is doing a good job in outsourcing in all sectors, even in creative outsourcing it will prove its ability once given chance,as Argentina is considered as workshop for creative outsourcing of the world, even India would able to prove its ability,As INDIA is having a Economic setting, plenty of creative talents,Highly educated population, these points would work more.
