Why must everything be objectified and analyzed to the point of offense? It is a clever and well-made ad, regardless of your personal bias. Sometimes a lollipop is just a lollipop: an aesthetic focus that effectively centers ANY advertisement. Let’s stop blaming victims and punishers and appreciate creative freedom on occasion, please.

iam am a mislim girl and i stand for this and allah tell use to cover and so i obayed him and if this lolipop thing is just a reminder. would u want to marry a woman the lost her veginilty and was with multiple guys all her life no so for u men and woman out there that think this is offensive get it throw your ignorent heads the hijab if freedom to us muslim woman and girls

The “advert” is incredibly insulting. To men (= flies) but also women who do not wear a damn scarf (=lollipops molested by flies).

Whoever thought of this and whoever forwarded this amd praised it, clearly thinks very badly of females without scarfs. Scarf is a new invention and nothing in this world justifies generalizing in such a gross and disgusting manner about females or males.

At the end of the day I find it absurd that on hand females with scarfs claim respect and right to be who they want to, but on the other hand these very same people who propogate scarf and its ideology do not offer females without scarf the same respect. How can you claim tolerance and respect when you can not offer to all the females without a scarf?

Allah is clearly more tolerant than most such people can ever hope to be. If similar posters had been made of females with scarfs then that would have caused an outrage and worldwide too. Here people seek to justify it claiming it is perfectly logical. There is nothing logical about degrading muslim females and muslim men like this.

A man is fully responsible for what he does. What a woman wears or doesn’t wear is not a freaking excuse for molesting them or abusing them.

I’d say this “advert” is more insulting than any fly.

Hey, why not put blinders on men like you do on horses rather than “wrapper on lollipop”.

I think this is an AWSOME metephor.
becuase when you wear the hijab “rapper”
guys ” flies” are not all over you. so ur clean
but with out that rapper..i mean who would want to eat a dirty lollipop?

This is just a Metaphor. It’s a very interesting way to encourage the Hijab in the Islamic world. However, as you said I beleive they should encourage good behaviour among the males as well. As a male muslim, you are not supposed to harass women whether they chose to wear or not wear the Hijab.

I’ve heard of the saying “a woman is like a precious jewel” and it should be protected and looked after…i’ll say ok to that, but a lolli pop?!!!! now that is just an insult! Religion is a realtionship between an individual and god. It is very personal and it can’t get any personal than this really. So if you want to commit to something like hejab for instance, then commit because you believe in that cause and not because of culture and traditions. This is the esence of what is being discussed in the this entry. So if that is the case, find a “raid” alternative!

I DO NOT SUPPORT RADICAL ISLAMISTS BUT I AM SURE THAT HIJAB IS NOT AGAINST HUMAN RIGHT.
