Following the passing of Luciano Pavarotti, I thought I would bring to your attention the latest Opera sensation, dubbed as the ‘new king of high C’s’. His name is Paul Potts, the June 2007 winner of Simon Cowell’s (American Idol) popular British television show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
For those who haven’t seen this viral yet, here is his first audition, where the odds were stacked against him: Overweight, no confidence, and tough choice of talent to showcase (Opera?). But, watch the video and see what happened.
