A post on 360east.com noted a video on ikbis (an Arabic YouTube-like website) that comically showcases a common dilemma facing Arabic/Muslim expats in the west. The video shows a Jordanian father talking to his son who recently returned to Jordan from America for a visit. (‘Ikbis’ is Arabic for push/press/squeeze)
Click here for the video. Ofcourse, you must be able to understand English and Arabic to enjoy the intermittent dialogue.

Nokia in the UAE has an agreement with ikbis for its Nokia N-Series mobile devices. Owners of N-Series Nokia cell phones can take video on the go and use the built-in “upload to ikbis” functionality to upload video clips directly to ikbis.com with a press of a button.

A Fox News segment featuring Ikbis stirred some controversy earlier this year as some people took offense to what they considered a ‘racist undertone’.

I wonder how much money Jordan has made from his shoe line? Probably in the billions!
