I happened to catch a glimpse of ‘Yusuf Islam’, formerly known as Cat Stevens, playing a segment in Hamburg. Islam/Stevens is the poster boy for the Muslim community: a celebrity who found his ‘righteous’ path in Islam. I must say it was odd to see the white-bearded, humbly dressed former star rocking again in front of a non-Muslim audience.
