Bruce Frisko is a News Anchor with a following. Love him or hate him, users of the popular social network Facebook have dedicated atleast 14 Groups to him, including one Greg Yorke of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In March of 2007, Greg Yorke announced on Facebook that he will get a tatoo of Bruce Frisko’s face if 25,000 people join the group. On May 1, his stint became an obligation as the number of subscribers crossed the 25,000 mark.

An article on Canoe’s CNEWS posts an interview with Greg Yorke, where he proclaims Bruce Frisko as the Maritime equivalent of Will Farrel’s fictional “Ron Burgundy” in the movie “Anchorman”.

Yorke is inviting everyone to an event at Peddlers Pub in Halifax tomorrow, Saturday May 12. Attendees will get to see Yorke following through on his promise, as he gets inked live on stage with the news anchor’s mug. The tatooing will start at 9PM.
